The Office of the Attorney General, the Florida Consortium of Urban League affiliates and Derrick Brooks Charities regret to inform you due to MEMORANDUM: EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBER 24-208 (Emergency Management – Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine), the 2024 Attorney General’s Crime Prevention Summit previously scheduled for October 4, 2024, in Tampa will be delayed indefinitely.

Be on the lookout for updates about the date for the rescheduled Summit and please join us in our continued efforts to prevent crime, end violence and build a Stronger, Safer Florida.

The Florida Office of The Attorney General Crime Prevention Summit is a collaborative effort sponsored by Attorney General Ashley Moody to foster communication and action among practitioners through the sharing of innovative ideas and prevention strategies that have been successful in all communities. This year’s summit will be held in the beautiful city of Tampa, Florida. The agenda is designed to showcase successful programs and promote a positive exchange of ideas on the subject. The Florida Office of the Attorney General’s goal is to foster collaboration among practitioners, community organizations, law enforcement and other state and local agencies, through the sharing of innovative and proven ideas on crime prevention that are relevant and timely to help attendees do their jobs more effectively and to make their agencies more successful. We will provide the very best, most relevant, and most thought-provoking ideas to the diverse audience that attends the Crime Prevention Summit.
